The Food Pantry helped 27 families last month, Items needed: peanut butter, Cranberry Sauce, canned soup, spaghetti sauce, tuna and Vienna Sausages. Household Items and clothes can be dropped off in the foyer or in the church office area. We really need sweaters and Jackets also.
Next food Pantry is Thursday November 20th from 10:00 am until 12:00 Noon
We will have Baby Dedication, today during morning services.

Healing Hearts will be meeting at Chicken Salad Chic on Tuesday,
November 18th at11:30 a.m.
WMU will start the Christmas card Post Office on Sunday, November 23rd for our Church members. Bring your cards and let the WMU deliver them for you. Please donate toward the Missions that the WMU does each year, so we can have funds to help with those missions. Just put cash or checks with your Christmas cards as you drop them off up front in the foyer.

The church will be decorated for Christmas on Saturday, November 29 at 9:00 a.m. Please come help Sherry L. Wilson that morning.
The Wednesday Night Bible Study will be doing the “White Elephant”
Gift Exchange. Ladies bring a gift for a lady, and men bring a gift for a man.
The WMU will not have a regular meeting in December, but will have a Christmas Lunch on Thursday, December 11th at 12:00 p.m. The Chop House on Rome Street.
Announcements
The Samaritan Shoe Boxes are still available today. They will be brought back on Sunday,
November 2nd. Please sign up and fill one of these boxes to thrill a child and to introduce them and family to Jesus Christ. Shipping is $10.00 this year and you can donate to that also.
Six Appalachian Book Bags are available in the Foyer. Each has a hang tag with a number printed on it. Choose your bag, and write your name on the sheet with the numbers printed on the tag and choose if you are buying for a boy or girl, (ribbon blue or pink), then choose the age of the child and pick a ribbon to be tied on to zipper that notes what age group you are buying for, and the gender of the child. Each bag will have two ribbons tied on the zipper double tied. See Patricia Shinn if you have any questions The Christmas Story will be put in your bag when they are brought back by October 19th. Thank you for helping a child.
Healing Hearts will meet at Long Horn on Bankhead Highway, Tuesday Oct. 14th at 11:30 a.m.
The WMU will meet, Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Meeting & Choir Room.

The Carrollton Baptist Association will have it’s 152nd Annual Meeting at the Tabernacle Baptist Church,
on Sunday, October 19th at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Marcus Merritt will be the speaker. Music by “Anthem Edition
Quartet” and The Tabernacle Choir, will be there to enjoy. We will be bringing our Appalachian bags to load on the truck going to Tennessee.

Fall Festival will be Saturday, October 25th from 4 until 6:00 p.m. More Information later.
Sunday November, 2nd we will have Pastor Appreciation Day and combine it with our Church Thanksgiving. We will have a covered dish lunch that day in the Family Life Center to honor our Pastors, Mike Harris and
Youth Pastor Len Kight.

Hearts On Fire 2025 - Student Conference 6th Grade and Up - November 21/22 Leconte Center - Pigeon Forge, Tennessee $150 per person,
