The Samaritan Shoe Boxes will be given out today. They will be brought back on Sunday,
November 2nd. Please sign up and fill one of these boxes to thrill a child and to introduce them and family to Jesus Christ. Shipping is $10.00 this year and you can donate to that also.
Seven Appalachian Book Bags are available in the Foyer. Each has a hang tag with a number printed on it. Choose your bag, and write your name on the sheet with the numbers printed on the tag and choose if you are buying for a boy or girl, (ribbon blue or pink), then choose the age of the child and pick a ribbon to be tied on to zipper that notes what age group you are buying for, and the gender of the child. Each bag will have two ribbons tied on the zipper double tied. See Patricia Shinn if you have any questions The Christmas Story will be put in your bag when they are brought back by October 19th. Thank you for helping a child.
The WMU will meet, Tuesday, October 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Meeting & Choir Room.

The next Food Pantry will be Thursday, October 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. This month we helped 21 families. Items needed: peanut butter, oatmeal/grits, saltine crackers, Spaghetti, sauce and dry pasta, household Items and clothes can be dropped off in the foyer or in the church office area.
Next Brotherhood Breakfast will be Sunday, October 26th In the Meeting & Choir Room at 8:00 a.m.
The Carrollton Baptist Association will have it’s 152nd Annual Meeting at the Tabernacle Baptist Church,
on Sunday, October 19th at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Marcus Merritt will be the speaker. Music by “Anthem Edition
Quartet” and The Tabernacle Choir, will be there to enjoy. We will be bringing our Appalachian bags to load on the truck going to Tennessee.

Fall Festival will be Saturday, October 25th from 4 until 6:00 p.m. More Information later.
Sunday November, 2nd we will have Pastor Appreciation Day and combine it with our Church Thanksgiving. We will have a covered dish lunch that day in the Family Life Center to honor our Pastors, Mike Harris and
Youth Pastor Len Kight.
We will have Baby Dedication, on Sunday, November 9th during morning services.
WMU will start the Christmas card Post Office on Sunday, November 23rd for our Church members. Bring your cards and let the WMU deliver them for you. Please donate toward the Missions that the WMU does each year, so we can have funds to help with those missions. Just put cash or checks with your Christmas cards as you drop them off up front in the foyer. The Christmas card lists will be out soon!
